Esperanto is an international language, created in 1887 by a guy called Zamenhof and designed to be very logical and straightforward to learn.
I started learning in 2013 and became what I would call "conversational" in about six months. Comfortably fluent within a year, as long as you didn't ask me about quilts or daffodils or slugs. The Esperanto community is very welcoming and full of idealistic, intelligent, and kind people (though as with all groups there are exceptions to the rule).
I've done a lot of work creating art, articles, and learning resources in and for Esperanto over the years so I figured I would share them here. Please be patient while I add stuff.
